Preventative Care Exam
Our comprehensive wellness exams are performed on a semi-annual schedule based on your pets age and health status.  Medical conditions are treated most successfully and economically when diagnosed early.  We are also capable of performing these calls at your barn or farm with our mobile veterinary facilities. ​

Grooming
We offer professional grooming services through our veterinary facility.  Therapeutic grooms are also offered.

Internal Medicine
Our internal medicine services provide answers when possible to why your pet isn't feeling well. We do our   best to help you to better understand your pets health condition.  We offer each client all of their medical options and refer when we are not able to offer the services needed for your pet. We often have to perform other diagnostic tests such as blood work and radiographs to help understand what is making your pet not feel well. We also offer large animal and equine internal medicine services.

Preventative Immunizations
Our veterinarians will set up a  vaccination schedule unique to your pet and their health considerations.  Puppies and kittens need a series of visits and vaccinations to prepare them for adulthood.

Calf Processing
We offer full service calf processing. We can tailor each program to the producers specific needs or make recommendations about how you can further increase your average daily gains, and commercialize your calves.

Herd Health
We offer full service herd health work. Disease testing, body condition scoring, pelvic measurements, weights, and vaccination services to all of our food animal clients.

Boarding
We offer small, medium, and large breed dog and cat boarding. We offer avian, and exotic boarding as well. Pets who stay with us receive fresh water, and food multiple times per day. They receive individualized social interaction three times a day during the week and twice a day on the weekends. Pets go for long walks three times a day during the week and twice a day on the weekends providing them exercise and stimulation. We are also capable of boarding pets with specific health needs, insulin, medications etc.

In House and Online Pharmacy
For your convenience, we have a full line pharmacy in our clinic.  Having the capability to dispense prescriptions will save you a trip to the local drug store.  Our online pharmacy allows for a larger selection of medications and home delivery.

Heartworm and  Parasite Testing
We recommend testing your pet every year since no prevention is 100 % effective.  We use SNAP tests that check for blood parasitic diseases including heartworm disease, feline leukemia and feline aids.  We check the fecal sample for intestinal parasites such as roundworms, giardia, hookworms, tapeworms, whipworms, and coccidiosis

Behavior Counseling
Behavioral problems are the number one reason pets are turned over to animal shelters.  We want to provide you and your pet with a good foundation and help prevent behavioral problems before they start

Health Certificates
Physical exams and evaluate of livestock and pets for health certificates can be performed at the clinic, salebarn, or on the farm to help facilitate animal movement.

Cytology
Identification of the bacteria, yeast, and abnormal cells via different staining procedures is offered.

Soft tissue  Surgery
A wide variety of surgical procedures are performed.  Most common are spays, and neuters.  Operations are also performed for tumors, wounds, and foreign objects.  

Radiology including Dental X-ray
Radiographs or x-rays are an important diagnostic technique. Our digital imaging services produce high quality results.

Allergy Testing
We can perform allergy testing for environment allergies and set up hyposensitization shots to help your pet with allergies.

Oral Health Care
Veterinary dentistry is important for the health of our patients.  Poor oral health can cause pain, weight loss, liver, kidney, or heart disease and even death.  We provide dental cleanings (prophylaxis), tooth extractions.

CBC and Chemistry
We offer a full in house laboratory from Abaxis Laboratories.  We can check complete blood counts, blood chemistries, and electrolytes. Our Licensed veterinary technicians and veterinarians perform urinalysis, complete blood counts, and morphology evaluations.  Since the lab is in-house, it allows us to have most results in minutes allowing us to diagnosis and treat your pet more quickly and effeciently.

Hospitalization
In house hospitalization services are provided for small and large animal patients. Our licensed technicians are fully trained and provide top notch hospital care for your pets and livestock. Clients of these patients receive daily updates about their livestock or pets medical condition.

Coggins Testing
If you are planning on crossing state lines with your horse we recommend you contact us for information about the necessity of a coggins test and health certificate before crossing state lines. Many horse shows or events require a negative coggins test for participation as well. The coggins test is used to identify Equine Infectious Anemia. This disease can be present and have very few clinical signs so it is important we test horses before moving. There is no treatment for this disease so to help prevent the spread of disease we must test animals that move into new areas.

Hoof Maintence and Treatment
Hoof maintenace and treatment is now even easier with our portable hydraulic tilt chute from Silencer. ​

Farm Call Service
​A wide variety of services can easily be performed on the farm with our full service vehicles available to help you. We often travel over 2-3 hours for services so please don't hesitate to ask.

Video Otoscopy
​​With Video otoscopy we are able to fully visualize the ear canals and perform advanced surgeries through better visualization of the ear canals. ​

Cold Laser Therapy
Cold laser therapy can reduce inflammation and speed healing. Our facility can provide therapy sessions to help with numerous conditions.

Homeagain Microchips
In the United States, 1 in 3 pets will get lost, without identificaitons, 90% will not come home.  Every 6 minutes a pet is recovered with Home Again.  Microchipping is simple, safe, effective and a permanent form of identification

Nutrition Counseling
Here at Town and Country veterinary clinic we understand the importance of a quality diet, feeding schedule, and amount to your pets health and longevity. We provide clients with counseling about different pet foods and what is best for their pet. Weight loss for your pet can also be discussed as well as disease specific nutritional requirements. We offer the Nebraska Preconditioning program for calf preconditioning. Age and Source Verification. Never Ever 3 and many more.  If you are interested in using this service please call ahead of time; tags and paperwork must be completed and ordered prior to arrival.
